La voie du Feng Shui Chevaucher le temps apprivoiser l'espace prendre sa place Nouvelles évidences French Edition eBook MariePierre Dillenseger Reviews
- This book is a really special and important book. Our general understanding of the concept of feng shui is superficial at best, dangerously wrong at worst. We tend to think of it only as "how to arrange furniture" in our house. Dillenseger has carved a remarkable niche for herself in bridging Eastern ideas into Western thinking. Reading this book, one gains deep insights into concepts such as "intentional coincidence", and an appreciation for a way of looking at things that takes all aspects of time and circumstance into account. The personal, individualized stories she tells in the last part of the book give a window into how this mode of Eastern thinking can have profound, powerful impact on people's lives. Her work, for example, with couples struggling to conceive children, are nothing short of remarkable. For anyone interested in expanding their understanding of Eastern thought, this is a fascinating book.
- Marie-Pierre Dillenseger has given those of us seeking to better understand and positively influence our lives a marvelous gift. Her book introduces ancient Chinese thinking about the role of time and space in shaping life trajectories and how, by understanding their role, we can make helpful choices about shaping our environment and choosing to act in the moments that will bring us the best chance of achieving our objectives. A basic goal is maximizing our innate vitality.
The book is beautifully and simply written. Its clarity is outstanding. Its metaphors are marvelous. Its humor is subtle and infectious. Marie-Pierre is a highly sought-after practitioner in the analysis of spatial and temporal issues and their positive or inhibiting effects on work and personal life. She writes about her own and her clients’ experiences in ways that bring her methodology to life. It’s fascinating. I can hardly wait for the English version to be published so I can recommend this book to all my Anglophone friends. - Terrific book -- vivid and clear. Some scientists might or might not debate the theories here, but this is fascinating, provocative stuff, with important implications for readers' personal and occupation lives, present and future.
Was very interested to learn the role of the author's personal health challenges in the genesis and development of the book.
The book's anguage is as clear and engaging as Gide's and Camus's.
